In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Education, I have been teaching publishing and layout design, journalism, and English for the last ten years. Prior to teaching, I worked as a graphics designer and a magazine editor and writer. The unique combination of working as a professional designer, as well as teaching publications and grammar, allows me to offer your business a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in editing for mechanics and style. My passion, however, is writing. I have been trained in a wide array of genres ranging from journalism to poetry to fiction, which allows me to write to your needs. Editing Services & Fees*
- Basic Copy Editing – $35/hour
Basic Copy Editing (grammar, mechanics, spelling) for websites, press releases, general articles, secondary school/undergraduate papers, etc.
- Deluxe Copy Editing – $55/hour
Copy Editing for academic or post-graduate papers; in-depth editing including comments on style, voice, word choice, etc. for short stories, blogs, novels, etc.
- Layout/Site Editing – $35/hour
Layout editing includes remarks on general flow and design as well as feedback on the structure of the site or print layout.
Writing Services & Fees*

Basic writing includes press releases, simple web content, and advertising content
- Deluxe Writing Services – $55/hour
Deluxe writing includes writing that requires a specific tone, voice or style. This can include but is not limited to ghost writing, blogging, article writing.
*All jobs require a minimum of a 1-hour charge. Above fees are subject to change depending on the complexity and turn-around time of the jobs. Projects that are over 2,000 words, that have a duration of more than 5 business days, or that have a rush demand may include an upcharge of 10% – 25%, depending on the need. Typical turn-around time is 3-5 business days. A deposit of 10% is required from companies and 25% deposit is required from individuals. Paypal is preferred.
